We had a leak in our main water pipe and toilet shut off valve. Called Polite Plumber and they had someone out next day. They said between 11-1 and he was there right at 11. He even found an error the town did when they installed a new meter.

Once they came to actually do the repair both guys were also on time and were done a little over an hour later. They were both very professional, didn't leave a mess and very efficient. Polite plumber has earned a repeat customer here and I highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done

I called for emergency service on my the first time since they answer the phone it was pleasant service tech he came in within an hour This company is awesome. Service techs know their stuff. The second time using the very professional workmanship of The Polite Plumber Co. in Ledgewood NJ, this time replacing a faulty hot water mixing valve. I called today at 12:30 and my technician was here at 1 PM Promptly resolved my issue and decided I didn’t need to spend extra money on an issue he thought was a problem. He ended deciding that it wasn’t a problem. Totally recommend the Polite plumber

I called the Polite Plumber because the customer service from my propane company is just terrible. After getting totally frustrated with their pricing, scheduling, and inattentiveness, I called the Polite Plumber. What a great decision that was! My technician was James, who arrived even sooner than promised, and he was very courteous and explained to me the problem with my water heater. A part was needed to fix the problem, and James came back to my house at the end of his day, with the new part, and installed it. He ran some tests and answered some more of my questions. I was also having a problem with my furnace, and James even recommended a heating specialist! Overall, a great experience, very fair pricing, and excellent customer care. I will definitely use the Polite Plumber again, and recommend them to friends. Thank you very much!

Since moving to our house in 2006, we had been trying to find a plumber in the area who was responsive and reasonably priced for any plumbing issues we had. We recently had trouble with our master shower and decided to contact The Polite Plumber. Best. Decision. Ever. Not only did they get back to us right away, they made an appointment that was convenient for us (not them) and were much more reasonably priced than other plumbers in the area. After barely owning my new house for 2 weeks, I had a pipe burst in my heating system. On a Saturday morning, I was running around calling as many different places as I could to find someone to help fix the issue. The Polite Plumber was not only the first company to call me back, they were also quick to arrive. They fixed the issue as well as offering several ways to prevent it from happening in the future, and gave us an abundance of information regarding how the whole system worked so that we had a solid understanding. I would definitely recommend them, and will be using them in the future.

The Polite Plumber arrived exactly when he said he would. In this day and age, that's good for 3 stars in and of itself. The technician diagnosed and fixed the shower faucet quickly and effectively. The price quoted was the price he charged. We are new to the area and got lucky! I recommend The Polite Plumber.

Ever since my first experience with The Polite Plumber, I've been impressed. The office staff (Kim) is extremely pleasant. She asks for what your needs are, confirms it to ensure that there is no misunderstanding, and then gives you an estimated time that a technician will arrive. Every time I've called them, they have been on time and on the same day, even if I call them later in the afternoon. The technicians review the problem, give you an up-front price, and then set about their work. When they leave, the work area is clean.
 
Today, my wife had her first experience being home during a service call. She was HIGHLY impressed with the professionalism of Paul and how detailed he was in explaining the service, cost, warranty, available service plan, etc. As a result, she urged me to sign up for the service plan, which included a full home plumbing inspection.

Finally truth in advertising! They're not kidding when they say Polite. They arrived at my house on time, spotted the trouble immediately, gave me a fair price for the repairs, then waited for my Condo Association to come and open and close the needed valves so the work could be completed. Courteous, efficient, punctual and fair priced, what more could anyone ask for.

I called them 2 days before Thanksgiving with several problems that had been building up. They were able to get a plumber over the next day and he fixed everything. As the name implies, the lady who answered the phone and the plumber who came out to the house were more than polite. Quite nice in fact. The plumber also gave me plenty of advice on how to keep the plumber away in the future by doing some maintenance things myself.
